Flagship Facility Services Announces Strategic Partnership with SoftBank Robotics America to Enhance Their Services with Proven Automation Solutions

SAN FRANCISCO (April 11, 2024) -- In a move to evolve their world-class services offerings, Flagship Facility Services, the pioneering facilities maintenance company, announced today a strategic partnership with SoftBank Robotics America (SBRA), the North American arm of the global leader in robotics solutions. This partnership allows Flagship to add the benefits and efficiencies of automation to their numerous services, by leveraging SoftBank Robotics’ industry-leading automation portfolio, which includes the renowned enablement and support program.

The integration of SBRA’s innovative and proven cleaning automation will allow Flagship to optimize their service performance while empowering their staff and deliver enhanced services to further the trust of their existing customers and win new business. The data and reporting provided by SBRA’s solutions will work closely with Flagship’s existing systems to define a new model of efficiency and success for the facility services industry.

“Our operations are rooted in the most effective integration of technology and productive labor to drive to the highest quality outcomes by validating service delivery,” said Kevin Barton, Flagship’s President of Aviation and Janitorial Services. “SoftBank provides the best autonomous solutions, powered by their industry-defining data, reporting, and services model, which guarantees our success with robots. With this partnership, we know that technology will not define our operations; it will work hard to enhance them.”

With SBRA’s autonomous vacuum and floor scrubber solutions, Flagship will gain efficiencies that will enable improved outcomes for their clients, and their guests. This is validated by GPS mapping, time and date stamping, and utilization data of run time in manual and autonomous mode, which will enable the Flagship teams to optimize operations in real time.

“Our difference is our purposeful investment in our partners’ success. From proven technology and data to comprehensive white glove support, our solutions deliver unparalleled business value at scale, providing that competitive edge,” said Brady Watkins, President of SoftBank Robotics America. “We’re excited to work with Flagship to combine best-in-class automation solutions, with best-in-class facilities services and define the new model for successful facilities operations.”

Mr. Barton added, “We can now measure the return on our technology investments and validate run time and cleaning effectiveness of the solutions and our teams. Autonomous cleaning is here and here to stay.”
