Built to clean bigger spaces in less time

In a busy, complex live environment, SoftBank Robotics America conducted a head-to-head comparison of Marvel versus other autonomous scrubbers. Marvel drove an efficiency gain between 128% and 165% for scrubbing combined with sweeping. Marvel was able to demonstrate both sweeping and scrubbing in one pass, versus the comparative scrubbers which required a team member to manually dust mop prior to autonomous scrubbing.   

The following metrics saw significant gains over the comparative scrubbers.

  • Higher Process Efficiency of the Hard Floor Cleaning Process – 100% more efficient because dust mopping was incorporated into the sweeping capability of Marvel and allowed the scrubbing action to proceed in a single pass.
  • Higher Shift Productivity (sqft/hr) – Between 28% and 64% more productive per shift as a result of uninterrupted coverage in a single shift.
  • Higher Capacity to Clean – 250% improvement in the runtime for Marvel due to battery efficiency, which allowed a single charge to be utilized for an entire shift.
